iOS & Android · Read the section for your device all the way through before you start.
No spoofer is 100% safe. Using one can get your account warned, struck or banned. I don't own any of these apps — this is only a guide on how to install them.
If you don't want to risk your main account, make a second account for spoofing. Be aware that a ban on a second account can sometimes affect your main one too.
Never use a spoofer in a way that affects other players.
Copy this page into Google Translate or ChatGPT and translate it to your language before you start.
You'll need it again — for spoofer updates, when a certificate expires, or if a method stops working. Save the link, or at least save my email so I can send it to you again.
Stuck on a step, unsure about a file, or this guide disappeared and you need a new link? Message me any time. Please write in English so I can help you faster.

You only need to read one method — the one for your device — plus the “Before you start” section below it. The guide looks long because it covers every problem people run into, not because the install is hard.
Try again in a few hours, or a few days. These sites go down and come back. If it stays down, message me and I'll sort it out.
You need a computer and a USB cable only to install the spoofer. After that you play on your phone without the computer. Works on both Windows and Mac.
The steps below are written for Windows. Everything is the same on macOS except these three things — read them, then follow the numbered steps.
Everything else — connecting the phone, the IPA file, trusting the profile, Developer Mode — is identical. Stuck on something not covered? Message me.
Not every USB-C cable works. If your computer doesn't detect the phone at all and the phone doesn't even start charging, the cable is the problem. Try a different one.
Windows: get all three from sideloadly.io. Use the iTunes and iCloud versions from that site — not the Microsoft Store versions. If you already have Store versions installed, uninstall them first.
Download the Mac version of Sideloadly (below the Windows button) and skip iTunes and iCloud — you don't need either. Then jump to step 2.
Sideloadly removed the iTunes and iCloud links from their site. Get them from the Microsoft Store or Apple's website instead.
Install all three. During setup, turn off automatic updates when it offers. Restarting your computer afterwards is a good idea.
Plug the phone in. Tap Allow on the prompt that appears on the phone.
Right-click each icon → Run as administrator. Wait for the Trust This Computer prompt on the iPhone and tap Trust.
That's normal if you've done this before. Carry on to the next step — if Sideloadly can see your iPhone, everything is fine.
If it asks to install or update Local/Remote Anisette, accept it.
Pick your iPhone under iDevice, then enter your iCloud email under Apple ID.
Unplug and replug a few times. Try a different USB port. Restart the computer and try again. If it still doesn't appear, restart once with the cable left connected the whole time — or if you already did that, restart with it unplugged and reconnect afterwards. If none of that works, uninstall everything and start from step 1.
Unplug the cable completely and restart. If that doesn't fix it, shut down fully (not restart) and power back on, then reconnect. You can also try shutting down with the cable left plugged in, or unplugging and replugging repeatedly, or a different USB port. One of those usually clears it.
Go to ipogo.app/install.php, press Install with Sideloadly, then Download the iPOGO IPA.
Make sure you're downloading ipogo.ipa and not something a pop-up pushed at you. If a page asks for your phone number, email or card details, close it immediately.
Click the IPA box on the left and choose the file — or just drag it onto the Sideloadly window.
Press Start. Enter the password for the Apple ID you typed in. If a code appears on your iPhone, enter it in Sideloadly and confirm on the phone. Installation then begins.
Before pressing Start, open Advanced Options and tick Remove limitations on supported devices, then try again.
Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → tap your email → Trust.
On iOS 18 it may ask you to confirm and restart. After the restart it asks once more and wants your passcode. Confirm both.
Then it didn't install. Start over, or wait a few days for an updated IPA and try again.
If iPOGO asks for Developer Mode or crashes on launch: Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode → turn it on, restart, and confirm after the restart.
When the game asks about location, choose While Using the App or Allow.
Missed the prompt? Settings → Apps → Pokémon GO → Location and allow it there. If you can't find it, reinstall and allow it when asked.
Open it once, then close it and leave it for 2–3 hours. This avoids cooldowns and reduces ban risk. On first run you may see no Pokémon, or bugs and glitches. That's normal. See Cooldowns.
The iPOGO certificate expires a week after you install it. When it does: delete the app, download the newest IPA, and install it again with the same steps. This is normal and will keep happening.
You'll need to allow installs from unknown sources, and it's easier if you know that's coming.
The exact name differs per phone — search “how to allow installing apps from unknown sources on your phone model”. Often you don't need to do it in advance: when you open the APK, Android offers to take you to the right setting.
Open your phone's browser and type this address in manually — don't tap it from a message:
https://ipogo.app/install.php#android
Under Android Non Root, press Download the iPOGO APK.
Close any ad that appears and make sure you're installing the iPOGO APK and nothing else. If a page asks for your number, email or card details, close it. Unsure about a file? Message me first.
If installation doesn't start after you allow unknown sources, find the downloaded file and open it again, or download it again from the site.
Choose While using the app or Allow when asked. Missed it? Settings → Apps → Pokémon GO → Location. If you can't find it, reinstall and allow it when prompted.
Close the app fully (swipe up twice, or use the recent-apps button) and reopen it. That usually fixes it.
Open it once, close it, come back in 2–3 hours. See Cooldowns.
Identical to the iPOGO method above — only the download source changes. Type this in your browser manually:
https://www.pgsharp.com/
Download the PGSharp APK, then follow steps 2–5 from the iPOGO method.
Google login is easier. Your Google account appears in the list already, so you can tap it instead of typing your email and password again. Useful if you don't remember your password.
Everything below applies to all three methods.
If you can't see Pokémon, can't catch anything, or hit odd glitches, that's almost always a cooldown, not a broken install. Close the app for a few hours and come back.
The full list of what's safe and what isn't is on the iPOGO FAQ page — scroll to the question about bans and safe actions.
You may see one Pokémon or none at all. Catch the one that's there, walk around with the joystick, and more will appear. Or teleport, leave it 2–3 hours, come back, and walk a little.
Spawned somewhere random after installing? Just teleport home.
Set movement speed above 1 km/h or you won't move at all. Keep it low enough to look realistic.
Then close the app for 2 hours. See Cooldowns.
Apple ID login usually doesn't work in spoofers. Use Google, Facebook, or email and password instead.
Delete the spoofer first, then log in with Apple ID as normal.
Tap the Poké Ball → settings icon (top right) → Account → Linked Accounts. Link Google or Facebook. For Pokémon Trainer Club you can set a password using “Forgot password”.
Delete the real app, install the spoofer, and log in with the method you just linked.
You picked a young age when you first set up the spoofer, and those accounts only get Niantic Kids and Pokémon Trainer Club. Reinstall and enter an older date of birth.
Tap the X at the bottom of the login screen and try again. Then try a different method. Then close the app completely and retry — sometimes several times. If nothing works, reinstall the newest version and try again, or switch methods.
Account banned and stuck on that screen? Delete the spoofer, reinstall, and log in with a different account.
Delete the app → reload the download page → download the newest version → install again. Repeat once a day until it works.
Reloading the page matters — that's how you get the current build rather than a cached old one.
This is normal and it isn't something you broke. When Pokémon GO updates, the spoofer has to be rebuilt to match, and the developers need time. Sometimes it's hours, sometimes days or weeks. Patience is the fix.
You can also check whether others have the same problem right now: r/iPogo · r/sideloadly
Every time Pokémon GO updates, the spoofer needs updating too. Until the developers publish it, you'll get “Pokémon GO is not updated”.
Fix: delete the spoofer, reload the download page, get the newest version, install it. If it's still not ready, try again in a few hours or days.
The certificate expires a week after installing, and the app stops opening. Delete it, download the newest IPA, reinstall. Nothing is wrong; this is just how sideloading works.
Rare, but it happens — “access denied”, “restricted access”, or the page simply won't load.
Use it only to open the download page, then turn it off before you play. A VPN while playing increases your ban risk.
Connect to a US, German or other Western location and reload the page. TunnelBear gives 2 GB free per month and works fine for this — on Android it's in the Play Store. Opera's built-in VPN works too. Any VPN will do.
